Doodle Grooming in St. Charles, MO
Expert cuts and mat-free coats for Doodles of every kind.
Doodles have some of the most maintenance-heavy coats out there. That soft, curly-to-wavy coat barely sheds, which sounds great — until you realize the loose hair stays in the coat and mats fast, especially in Missouri's humidity. Without regular professional grooming and at-home brushing, a Doodle's coat can felt into tight mats right against the skin.
We groom Doodles of every kind — Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Bernedoodles, Sheepadoodles, and the rest — and we tailor the cut to what you want, whether that's a rounded teddy bear face, a short easy-care puppy cut, or something in between. Our experienced team keeps the coat healthy, comfortable, and looking its best.

Why it matters
Regular grooming and a full brush-out reach mats before they tighten against the skin and cause irritation.
From a fluffy teddy bear cut to a low-maintenance short trim, we shape the coat to your preference and lifestyle.
Clearing the coat to the skin lets it breathe, prevents moisture from getting trapped, and keeps your Doodle comfortable.
Doodles do best on a regular 4–6 week schedule, and seeing the same groomers each time keeps the coat manageable.
All Doodle crosses — Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Bernedoodles, Sheepadoodles, Aussiedoodles, Cavapoos, and more — plus Poodles and other curly, continuously-growing coats.
Frequently asked questions
How often should a Doodle be groomed?
Every 4–6 weeks is ideal, plus brushing at home. Doodle coats grow continuously and mat quickly — especially in humid weather — so a consistent schedule is genuinely necessary to keep the coat healthy and comfortable.
Can you do a teddy bear cut?
Yes — the rounded teddy bear look is one of the most popular Doodle styles, and we're happy to do it. Tell us the length and face shape you like, and bring a photo if you have one.
My Doodle is badly matted — will you have to shave it?
We always put your dog's comfort and skin first. Light mats can often be brushed out, but tight matting against the skin is safest and kindest to shave, then grow back out. We'll show you what we're seeing and talk through the options before we start.
