Full Groom in St. Charles, MO

The complete spa day, tailored to your dog's breed and coat.

A full groom is our head-to-tail service and the one most dogs come in for. It combines a warm bath, a full blow-dry and brush-out, a breed-appropriate haircut or tidy, a nail trim, and an ear cleaning — everything your dog needs to leave clean, comfortable, and looking their best.

Every full groom is tailored to your individual dog: their breed, coat type, skin, age, and temperament all shape how we work. We groom at a pace your dog can handle, and every pup goes home with a complimentary bandana or bows.

Why it matters

Healthier skin & coat

Regular full grooms clear out loose undercoat and dead skin, which keeps the coat breathing and cuts down on shedding around the house.

Mat prevention

A thorough brush-out reaches mats before they tighten against the skin, where they trap moisture and cause irritation.

Early problem-spotting

Hands-on grooming is when we notice hot spots, lumps, ear issues, or overgrown nails early — before they become bigger problems.

A calmer, cleaner dog

Clean ears, short nails, and a tidy coat simply make day-to-day life more comfortable for your dog.

Best for

Most dogs on a regular schedule — especially breeds with coats that grow continuously or mat easily, like Poodles, Doodles, Shih Tzus, Bichons, and spaniels.

Frequently asked questions

How often should my dog get a full groom?

It depends on the coat. Curly and continuously-growing coats (Poodles, Bichons, Shih Tzus) do best every 4–6 weeks; many double-coated breeds do well every 8–12 weeks. We're happy to recommend a schedule for your specific dog.

How long does a full groom take?

It varies with your dog's size, coat condition, and temperament. We groom at a pace your dog can handle rather than rushing, so we'll give you a realistic pickup window at drop-off.

What if my dog is matted?

We'll always put your dog's comfort and skin first. Light matting can often be brushed out; tight matting that's pulling on the skin is safest to shave out. We'll talk you through the options at check-in.

Do you groom senior or anxious dogs?

Yes. We adjust our approach for seniors and nervous dogs, taking breaks as needed. Let us know about any health or mobility concerns when you book.
